About
Fata-Morgana is a couples club in a converted farmhouse in Muiden, right by the A1 motorway between Amsterdam and Hilversum and, according to the club, about ten minutes' drive from Amsterdam. Across three floors it offers a bar, a dance floor with a DJ, a buffet restaurant, a lounge with an open fireplace, a sauna area with a whirlpool and more than ten themed rooms, some of which can be locked. Entry is all-inclusive and no membership is required. Couples, women on their own and male-female-female trios are admitted; single men are not. The club currently opens on Friday and Saturday nights and is closed on Sundays. Tickets can be booked online or bought at the door.
When it's open
Friday 21:00–03:00 (dress code from 21:00), Saturday 21:00–04:00 (dress code from 22:00); closed on Sundays. Hours may differ on special parties and public holidays.
House rules
Couples, solo women and M/F/F trios only; no single men. No membership needed. Arrive clean and well groomed. Nothing is compulsory and a simple 'no' is enough. No nudity in the restaurant, bar, VIP lounge, disco or smoking lounge; towels are not clothing.
Dress code
From dress-code time: lingerie, clubwear or other provocative outfits; men wear boxer shorts, optionally with a T-shirt. No sportswear, beachwear or everyday clothes. Footwear recommended, slippers are fine.
