About
Townhouse is a swingers and BDSM club in Birkenhead on the Wirral, a few minutes from Liverpool, housed in a discreet former pub. It welcomes couples, single women, the LGBTQ+ community and, on selected nights, single men; all guests must be 18 or over, and the average age is roughly 28 to 45. Every event is booked in advance through the club's website, with themed swinging nights, kink and fetish parties, queer nights and evenings for newcomers. On a first visit a member of the team shows guests around and explains the rules. The ground floor has a bar and lounge, the play areas are upstairs, and there is an outdoor courtyard.
When it's open
Ticketed events only, mostly Fri–Sat 20:00–02:00, plus some weekday evenings (e.g. Tue, Thu) and Sunday afternoons. See the events page.
House rules
Pre-booked tickets only, no payment at the door; non-members bring photo ID and proof of address. All play by invitation; no touching without invitation; respect closed doors. No phones anywhere in the club, no photos. Zero tolerance for drugs; no own drinks. Single men may not come in groups; couples tickets only for committed couples. Sex workers are not allowed.
Dress code
Dress to impress; no sportswear, gym trainers, ripped jeans, Ugg boots, hats/caps or workwear. After 22:30 dress down (lingerie, wrap, boxers or towel) to enter upstairs play areas. Kink/fetish events: fetish wear, at minimum dark smart clothing.
