About
Kow2 in Hamburg-Hamm calls itself Hamburg's oldest frivolous bar. A frivolous bar is a bar first: people meet for a drink, flirt, see and are seen – and whoever wants to can withdraw to the play rooms. Couples and singles of every orientation are welcome. There is no entrance fee and drinks cost normal bar prices; single men pay 30 euros for their first drink. It opens Thursday to Saturday, and on other days there are often special events. You can change on site.
House rules
- A no, or a gesture meaning no, is accepted immediately. Prostitution is strictly forbidden and leads to exclusion and a house ban. The club keeps a balanced ratio of couples and single men.
- Dress code: A well-groomed appearance and a fitting outfit are required: for women, for example, something frivolous, a little black dress or a sheer dress; for men, neat clothing.
