About
Insomnia is a nightclub in Berlin-Tempelhof, right by the Alt-Tempelhof underground station, that runs sex-positive parties, swinger nights and fetish/BDSM events under one roof. Weekends centre on dance parties with DJs: electronic music on Saturdays, and on Fridays also gothic, wave and 80s/90s hits. Nobody is expected to take part, and simply dancing or watching is fine. Weekdays bring swinger and themed evenings, plus tango on Wednesdays. Couples, singles and people of every orientation are welcome, and most weekend parties have an area reserved for couples. An awareness team is on site and staff also speak English. Payment is cash only; showers, a whirlpool and towels are provided.
When it's open
Tuesday to Sunday; Fri/Sat sex-positive dance parties, weekdays swinger, fetish and themed nights.
House rules
Active consent: touching only after asking, and a refusal is accepted. The door decides on entry, especially for single men. Cash only.
