About
Shivaz is a couples club with an erotic sauna in Ghent, built around jazz and art: a jazzy bar, a lounge, a sauna, a hammam and several separate private rooms in a New York-style loft. The club defines itself as couples-only; single guests get in only when invited by a couple and approved by the hosts, and single women are also welcome on Fridays. The entrance fee covers the sauna, drinks and towels. Evenings run on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday afternoons there is a relaxed sauna session by reservation only. Places are limited, so the club strongly recommends booking by text message.
When it's open
Thursday, Friday and Saturday 20:00–03:00 (last entry 23:00); Sunday 15:00–22:00, by reservation only and closed in July and August.
House rules
Couples only; singles only when invited by a couple and approved by the hosts (single women also welcome on Fridays). Saturdays strictly couples. Booking by text message strongly recommended; on the last Thursday of the month there is a double date night for two couples arriving together.
Dress code
Smart casual until 22:00, lingerie only after that. Sundays sauna style (towels provided).
